Tragedy has struck. Ok, let me rephrase that. Stupidity has struck. I have lost all pictures since Diwali at home till the day I landed up at Gangtok. That means I have no pictures of this day when I did the maximum manual labour. Left the pictures on the desktop of a cyber cafe to be written on to a CD later. And they promptly deleted it. What was I thinking!
Leave a CommentI was in striking distance to the Himalayas again. Siliguri, at the base of the mountains was about 250 kilometers away. I could get there by about 2 in the afternoon and reach Darjeeling by evening. It was a good prospect.

As I packed my bags and mounted the bike all over again, it felt strange. Almost like it felt on day one leaving from Mumbai. Had it really been that long? I think I stayed a wee bit too long. Lethargy was creeping in. Time to shake my ass and get back into back breaking mode.
